Un’opera d’arte può essere un’oggetto di uso comune, inserito in un contesto d’arte, come una gallerie, mostre, città d’arte. Non sto parlando di un quadro, o un opera d’arte che rientri in generi artistici standard come pittura o scultura, ma un’oggetto la cui funzione, il cui uso era comune, indipendentemente dalla sua collocazione artistica. Non sto nemmeno parlando di una provocazione alla Duchamp, tesa a inserire oggetti semi inutili o superficiali in un contesto artistico, quasi a dire che è il luogo che fa l’opera d’arte, o ancora peggio, il nome, come nel caso di Manzoni e dei suoi barattoli d’artista.A work of art can be an ordinary, useful object, exhibited in an artistic context such as a gallery, a show, or urban art centers. I’m not talking about a painting or a work of art that falls into standard genres of art such as painting or sculpture, but of an object whose function is a common one, regardless of its re-location into an artistic contest. I’m not even talking about a provocation á la Duchamp, intentionally including semi useless or superficial objects in an art context as if to say that the context creates the art, or even worse, that the name does so, as in the case of Manzoni and his artists’ tins. Gli ArtProps™ sono gli oggetti di scena usati nella realizzazione dei videotricks, i video aziendali artistici, video virali, con cui Macinino trasforma le situazioni, gli oggetti con il processo della Macinazione. L’arte contemporanea è al bivio: dopo decenni di sperimentazioni tanvolta fini a sè stesse, può continuare a proporre opere che parlano un linguaggio autoreferenziale, o parlare della vita e del mondo con oggetti del mondo e mezzi di espressione usati dal mondo, come è il caso del video o filmato. ArtProps™ sono oggetti unici, vendita di prototipi d’arte, non solo perchè inseriti in un contesto di creazione di un’opera d’arte, ma anche perchè immortalati attraverso una testimonianza video. Attraverso questo nuovo approccio alla produzione d’arte contemporanea, Macinino™ realizza un’opera d’arte stabilisce un contatto diretto con il mondo, con una creazione dell’opera d’arte che potremmo definire senza sprechi. L’approccio di Macinino™, il primo mill artist, è ecologico, nel senso etimologico del termine: l’ambiente non solo naturale è tenuto in considerazione, perchè la creazione dell’opera d’arte sia trasformazione e non unicamente distruzione e rifiuto. Gli oggetti e le situazioni sono trasformati, e grazie al web 2.0 la promozione e vendità dell’opera d’arte limita l’impronta ecologica, ovvero il rapporto tra il consumo umano di risorse naturali con la capacità della Terra di rigenerarle. L’opera d’arte prototipo in vendita è costituita dalle 3 mascherine antipolline utilizzate per l’immagine con la quale Macinino™ partecipa all’edizione 2009 dell’evento Billboard – Words, promosso da fondazione march e Tina B. Si tratta di 3 mascherine comuni, di un uso comune, cui è associato un messaggio che pur usando parole comuni genera un interrogativo., elevated to the status of artwork; nor are they deprived of their ability to exercise their primary role in order to be used in a critique of a given system. The ArtProps ™ are prototypes of art, we might call them actors within the work of art and at the same time directors. The ArtProps ™ are the props used in the implementation of videotricks (art videos for business), the viral videos with which Macinino transforms situations, objects necessary to the process of Macinazione. Contemporary art is at a crossroads: after decades of experimentation that was often an end in itself, artists can continue to put forward works that speak in a self-referential language, or they can talk about life and the world with objects produced by, and modes of expression employed by that world as is the case with video or film. ArtProps ™ are unique items, art prototypes are offered for sale, not only because they are an integral part of creating a work of art, but also because they have become immortalized through the testimony of video. The art prototype for sale consists of 3 pollen masks used in the creation of the image with which Macinino™ participated in Billboard’s 2009 event – Words, sponsored by the March Foundation and Tina B. We’re talking about 3 ordinary masks that anyone might use, associated with a message that uses common words to generate a question.
